The Adult Social Care Infection Control Fund is worth £600 million. The primary purpose of this fund is to support adult social care providers, including those with whom the local authority does not have a contract, to reduce the rate of COVID-19 transmission in and between care homes and support wider workforce resilience.

You may be able to apply for the fund to use digital technology in care homes for infection control.

All funding must be used for COVID-19 infection control measures. The grant must only be used to support care homes and domiciliary providers to address the risks of COVID-19 infections.

In particular, our Nexus messaging platform delivers nurse call alerts and other notifications directly to mobile phones so staff don’t have to congregate around or touch a communal wall board or screen. It also minimises the amount of movement around the home by care staff and the use of shared phones and handsets.

To talk more about how our technology could qualify for the grant which must be claimed by September 30th 2020 please call us on 01865 367111.
