GHM Care has recently installed a new telephone system, WiFi and our Nexus solution at the newly built Birchwood Heights, managed by Oakland Care. This purpose-built care home in the small town of Swanley in Kent, offering 77 en-suite bedrooms in a luxurious setting.
The care home telephone system comprises a range of desk phones, smartphones, and easy-to-use resident handsets. The WiFi Network includes internal Access Points, with internet connectivity for staff, residents and visitors.
The Nexus Cloud nursecall messaging solution integrates with the existing Nurse Call system at Oakland Care, allowing staff to receive alerts directly to their smartphones, creating a calmer environment by reducing noisy wallboard alerts throughout the home.
