Hamberley Neurocare Basingstoke is a newly built, state-of-the-art neurological rehabilitation centre in Basingstoke.
GHM Care worked alongside Hamberley Development and constructors from the design stage, right through to completion, to provide a range of telecoms, WiFi and nursecall solutions.
The setting
Designed around the needs of people living with a range of neurological conditions, Hamberley Neurocare Basingstoke perfectly combined style and function to create an environment of recovery, resilience, and renewal.
In addition to dedicated areas for families and individuals to come together to cook, eat and relax, the light, contemporary, open-plan service has assistive technology built-in and WiFi throughout, a physiotherapy gym and elegant interior-designed spaces.
Such a setting requires seamless communication between teams, plus technology that supports the broad range of specialist care provided. Any technology also needs to enable residents to live more independently.
The GHM Care solutions
Solutions provided by GHM Care comprise a Telephone System (both desktop and mobile devices), plus a WiFi Network that supports a high level of digital care and connectivity, whilst also providing residents with excellent online experiences.
Hamberley Neurocare Basingstoke is also using the flagship NexusCare solution from GHM Care that delivers nursecall alerts to mobile devices, provides insight into all nursecall activity and integrates with Hamberley’s chosen digital care records.
