Berkley Care Group is known for its innovative approach to the sector. They provide luxury living for residents as well as exceptional care, which is recognised by industry bodies. Having worked with several homes in the group already GHM was appointed to install a new communications solution at their new care home in Chesham. This consist of installing a care home telephone system, care home WiFi network, smartphones and Nexus system to integrate with nursecall.

Hillside prides itself on being a good quality home that the current director has run for some 15 years. They were the first home in Wales to be registered under the Eden Alternative, an approach to care that aims to address the three plagues of care home life: Loneliness, helplessness and boredom. GHM Care are working on a few solutions, but our main priority was working closely with the client to install our Nexus solution.

Inspire Neurocare Worcester is a new build rehabilitation facility, purpose-built for the needs of people living with a range of neurological conditions. The solution here consisted of installing a care home telephone system, care home Wi-Fi network and Smartphones, that not only connect to the telephone system, but also the bespoke GHM’s Nexus solution, which integrates with nursecall. The efficiency of the system, security and costs were factored to also take into consideration.

The GHM Care Team have recently been working on a project for Hillside Care Home, a nursing and residential care home with 58 residents in South Wales. Part of the project is installing our Nexus Care Platform, a messaging platform that sends nursecall alarms and alerts directly to mobile phones so noisy consoles can be silenced. Gareth the Director at Hillside Care Home has kindly shared his first thoughts.
